Cancellation Policy

At Pathao, we understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy is designed to ensure transparency while maintaining operational efficiency and aviation safety standards in partnership with Simrik Air.

Booking Cancellation

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled departure may be eligible for partial refunds or rescheduling based on availability and operational conditions.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable.
No refunds will be provided for no-shows or cancellations made within 1 hour of departure time.

Weather & Operational Cancellations

Helicopter operations in Nepal are highly dependent on weather and safety conditions. Flights may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to:

Poor weather conditions
Low visibility
Air traffic restrictions
Technical or operational safety concerns
Government or aviation authority regulations

In such cases, travelers may:

Reschedule the flight for another available date, or
Request a refund according to operational policy.

Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling requests are subject to seat availability and operational approval.
Last-minute date changes may not always be possible during peak travel seasons.
Additional charges may apply for customized rescheduling requests.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions.
Any payment gateway charges, bank fees, or operational charges may be deducted where applicable.

All helicopter tours are operated subject to weather, safety, and aviation regulations.
Travelers are advised to keep flexible schedules during mountain flights.
Pathao and Simrik Air reserve the right to cancel or modify flights for passenger safety at any time.
